Our Royal Marines Cadet insignia collection provides the official identification badges that distinguish these specialist cadets within the broader cadet community. These distinctive shoulder flashes and titles connect Royal Marines Cadets with the proud heritage of their parent corps while creating a clear visual identity during training activities.
The shoulder flashes, featuring the instantly recognisable "RMC" initials in black on green or red on blue backgrounds, immediately identify cadets affiliated with this elite specialisation. These distinctive badges reflect the Royal Marines' own corps identity while creating appropriate cadet versions that acknowledge the connection without compromising regular service insignia.
Royal Marines Cadets undertake specialised training focused on the amphibious and commando aspects of military operations, reflecting the unique role of their parent corps. Their distinctive insignia represents this specialisation while fostering the corps pride and identity that characterise Royal Marines units.
The proper positioning of these badges on uniform follows specific regulations, teaching cadets the attention to detail expected within military organisations. Learning to correctly place and maintain these insignia develops the precision in personal presentation that distinguishes the Royal Marines' high standards.
Since 1949, Cadet Kit Shop has provided official cadet insignia that adheres to organisational standards. These carefully designed badges ensure Royal Marines Cadets can properly represent their corps affiliation while maintaining the distinctive identity that sets them apart within the cadet community.
