Wintertime is the perfect time to curl up with a good book - when you get the chance of course!
Here are some of our favourite true-life adventure reads:
1. 'Into Thin Air' (the bestselling account of a tragedy on Mount Everest) and 'Into the Wild', by Jon Krakauer.
2. 'Bushcraft 101 - A Field Guide to the Art of Wilderness Survival' by Dave Canterbury (Full of great survival tips).
3. 'Touching the Void' by Joe Simpson (the incredible story of the author's miraculous survival following a climbing accident).
4. 'North - Finding My Way While Running the Appalachian Trail' by Scott and Jenny Jurek (a man who pushed himself to his physical and mental limits when he set the fastest known time across the trail in 2015).
Have you read any of these? What do you think?! Do you have any reading recommendations?
