How are your #HikingSkills? Would you like to improve on your #endurance?
Here are three of our top tips:
1. Try improving your running as this is a great way to build stamina. Start with a run/walk programme where you alternate between running and walking while you build up on your fitness levels.
2. Weight Training (this could be anything from using dumbbells to your own bodyweight) can really help improve your overall strength which plays a massive role in your endurance on a long hike!
3. Work on your breathing technique - if you're taking short, shallow breaths instead of deep breathing you won't be getting the valuable oxygen your body needs, especially when it's working hard!
