Love it or hate it, boot polishing is a part of #CadetLife! But isn't it a nightmare when it ends up over your hands and clothes?!
For bad stains apply a little detergent to the area directly, and rub in.
The best way to remove any excessive polish is to hand-wash in a sink using warm water and detergent. If you have to machine wash, do it separately to avoid the polish spreading to other clothes!
For getting boot polish off of skin these are our top methods:
- Wash with a grease-cutting dish-washing liquid.
- Rub the stained skin with a facial cold cream.
- Apply vinegar to your skin and gently rub with a soft cloth.
And remember to do the right thing and tell your mates when they have a stain - they're surprisingly easy to miss!
