Cadet Kit Shop Presents Plaque

Witton and Aston detachment Army Cadet Force was given a massive boost by the visit of HRH Duke of Kent, who performed the Opening Ceremony at the new £21m campus at the Broadway School in Aston, Birmingham on Wednesday 7th December 2011.

The cadet recruits of just 6 weeks proudly provided a guard of honour at the school entrance to greet the Duke on his arrival. He spoke to a number of the newly uniformed young cadets.

Broadway School has embraced the Army Cadet Force as a youth organisation which offers its students the opportunity to join the cadets as one of its many extra curriculum activities.

Cadet Kit Shop supplied two specially produced commemorative plaques,
one of which was presented to Broadway School Headmaster Ron Skelton by the County Commandant Warwickshire & West Midlands ACF Colonel, John Mytton. The second plaque was presented to recruit Sandile Kenneth Sibanda by his Company Commander, Tom Nugent of CKS.
