Cadet Kit Shop Presents £300 Cheque to Champion Cadet
Our MD, Tommy Dalman, was very proud to present a cheque for £300 at the annual ACF Champion Cadet Competition at Frimley Park.
The 2011 Champion Cadet is Staff Sergeant Bradley Anderson, The Black Watch Battalion ACF.
The aim of the ACF Champion Cadet Competition is to select, through a number of competitive events and interviews, the ACF Champion Cadet of the year. The cadet must have achieved Master Cadet status and be recommended by their Cadet Commandant.
We’re delighted to be involved in this very worthy annual event. At Cadet Kit Shop we endeavour to support cadets in any we can, both through our website and the various events we attend.
S/Sgt Anderson was presented with the Claire Shore Trophy by Brigadier E M Flint, Chief of Staff, Support Command at the finals of the Master Cadet Course. The Trophy will reside at Frimley Park.
Claire Shore was a Cadet Corporal in the Staffordshire and West Midlands (North Sector) ACF. She was involved in a tragic accident on Summer Camp in 1998 and subsequently died. The Trophy acts as a tangible reminder to all who participate and ensures that she will never be forgotten.
