I had these as my first boots when I joined the Volunteer Police Cadets. They lasted me brilliantly and were great for beat duties. My boots lasted me my public order training and will shine a treat which meant when taking part in trooping the colour they were fab. However I would recomend having a seperate pair of boots for parade and drill because the soles make them very quiet. Alo they only lasted me two years and I've ended up having to get a better pair of magnums because the sole ripped from the main part of the shoe
